We accept a non-refundable application fee of $500.00 to be paid once your application for adoption has been approved.  All application fees are applied towards the adoption fee of your new puppy.  

 

Golden Retriever adoption fee with  AKC limited registration -  $4,500 + 8.4% Washington Sales tax.

Sales tax not paid by Oregon families

 

When you submit the application fee please send us a follow up email notifying us that you have completed that process, dana@moonlitacres.com.  In this email please specify the following items:

•  Your gender preference

• Method of making the deposit:  check, PP, Venmo or Zelle.  

• The state you are located in.

Our deposit system is NON REFUNDABLE

If you change your mind about getting a puppy, find a puppy from someone else, or adopt a rescue once you've placed a deposit down, please do not make it an awkward situation and ask for your deposit back.  This is a non refundable deposit.  We ONLY breed our girls if we have a reservations list.  If you back out after on the list we most likely already bred another litter thinking we had the need for another litter.  This has become an increasing issue recently and I thought it would be best to address it openly and upfront.   We do not want to keep anyone's deposit we want to find loving families that want a puppy and do not swing with instant gratification! ​

The puppy application fee can be paid via check or money order, wire transfer, PayPal, Zelle or direct deposit.  The deposit is $500 when made via every option except PayPal.  When PayPal is used the application fee is $515.  $15 is applied towards the banking fees from PayPal.
